If you’ve decided that you want to do some interior projects following your spell in lockdown, you certainly aren’t alone. One room that you may want to give some love to is your bedroom.
Creating a sanctuary in this part of the home can help you get a good night’s sleep, not to mention just making you smile every time you wake up. If you’re looking to modernise your sleeping space and are in need of some inspiration, take a look at some of the designs recently shared by Yanko Design.
The news provider noted that, with a modern bedroom design, you should be aiming for a space that’s “modern, elegant, minimal and most of all gives you the detachment and escapism from our daily grind”.
Although each of the designs showcased by the publication is different, one theme keeps recurring – the use of natural colours. Greens, earthy shades and stone greys are all commonplace in modern bedroom designs.
One designer even has a glass wall behind the bed, with plants running between the glazing and a high wall behind the house. That way you still have plenty of privacy as well as a natural backdrop that will change with the seasons.
If that sounds a little ambitious, you could introduce a taste of nature with photos of trees mounted behind your headboard or even a vertical green wall in your bedroom.
Back in March, some of the top trends in luxury interior design were highlighted at London Design Week. Introducing contrasting textures to your decor, as well as focusing on high-end details were just a couple of the trends to take note of.
