‘Modish Living Room’ Maidenhead
The brief for this project was to create a unique ‘adult’ space for both relaxing and entertaining, with a feature wall that incorporated storage solutions.
As well as furnishing the space with beautiful fixtures and fittings, the work also included building out the feature wall to create a recessed fireplace and TV, and an amazing bespoke built-in wooden display unit. The use of linen wall-coverings, oxidised copper door fronts and clever lighting design complements the finish beautifully.
A bespoke built, velvet upholstered, bar was also incorporated into the room, adding a sense of luxury as well as a sophisticated area to entertain.
The use of colours, dark walls and textures really gives this room a contemporary but cosy feel. The layering of materials in carefully considered areas, such as the use of the metal finishes on the cupboard doors and bar top, creates interest within the space and helps to bring the room together beautifully.
